  • 16 slices of wholegrain bread
  • 200g of cooked and peeled shrimps
  • 100g of truffle butter (you can find it in gourmet stores or prepare it by mixing soft butter with black truffle or truffle oil)
  • 3 tablespoons of white truffle cream
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste (optional, as the truffle butter may already be salty)

Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) and place the wholegrain bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the truffle butter on the bread slices. Put the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the toasts for about 8-10 minutes or until they become crispy and lightly golden.

Meanwhile, heat the cooked shrimps in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes. Add a pinch of salt if necessary but remember that the truffle butter may already be sufficiently seasoned.

Once the toasts are ready, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Spread a teaspoon of white truffle cream on each toast. Place a cooked shrimp on each toast with the white truffle cream. Sprinkle the toasts with some freshly ground black pepper.
